About Whispering Willow

We are veterinary professionals who specialize in assisting pet owners by providing humane euthanasia services in the comfort of their own home or special place. Compassion, love and care are our basic tenets and we know there is a great need for this in our community.

Dr. Sharon McCutchen

Dr. Sharon McCutchen returned to Western Massachusettes 20 years ago to work as a relief veterinarian and then as a primary veterinarian at Greenfield Veterinary Clinic. She is currently a clinical veterinarian at the University of Massachusettes in Amherst. She attended the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine attaining her veterinary degree in 1998 with a focus in exotics.

Throughout her career, Dr. McCutchen has felt that the bond between humans and their pets is so strong and helping facilitate that last loving experience between them has been a calling to her. She has always wanted for this experience to be as peaceful and loving as it can be.
